Remember the classic lemonade stand ... here is Zach's modern spin on that idea. Possibly the first ever Lightning McQueen road side stand. One dollar is a good price considering what I spent on each of these ...

Here is a picture of unique potato chip flavors not usually seen in Virginia. Thanks to Danny Harvill for picking these up for me in Louisiana - I'll be enjoying these tasty kettle fried chips this weekend watching the NCAA final-four basketball games (or more likely watching episodes of Hannah Montana or Max and Ruby). Note the picture of the crawfish and alligator with a chef's hat on the upper right corner of each respective bag.

By: David Browe

New York, NY (AP): The CNBC News Affiliate in Singapore recently obtained this rare footage of the Browe.com Executive Director of Content in exile in the South Pacific following the Café O'Lay scandal. As first reported by the Straits Times, the Executive Director spent nearly 9 months in a small private bungalow in the rugged coastal foothills of Tutuila Island in the Samoan archipelago. Local villagers described the Executive Director as a reclusive figure shrouded in mystery. About the only time villagers ever witnessed him leave his bungalow was to go to the beach to dig for clams. Top officials from Singapore Press Holdings Limited, the Straits Times parent company, declined to comment on rumors that they paid the Director $1.3 million dollars for consultative services.

Browe Executive Director Seeks Honorary Membership in Carolyne's "Girls Club" After Meeting an Internationally Acclaimed Princess
February 29, 2008
By: David Browe

New York, NY (AP): The Executive Director has been trying hard to win honorary membership in Carolyne Browe's highly exclusive "Girls Club". However, despite being a big fan of Princesses, the Director's past attempts to gain membership have failed miserably. Now, he has strong reason to hope that Carolyne will reconsider. Recently, the Executive Director met Lea Salonga (see Photo Gallery: Executive Director Hits Broadway First Night Back in New York), the Tony Award and Lawrence Olivier Award winning actress/singer well regarded for lead roles in Broadway musical theater, such as Kim in Miss Saigon and Fantine in Les Miserables, and her sold out concerts at NYC's Carnegie Hall. In Hollywood, she played Lien Hughes on CBS's "As the World Turns", and has appeared on NBC's hit drama "ER". Most importantly, though, she is famous for her role as the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin (1992), Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge (2001), and Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams (2007), and the singing voice of Fa Mulan in Disney's Mulan (1998) and Mulan 2 (2005). In addition, Lea will play the lead role of Cinderella in Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella set to launch an international tour in Asia this summer. Lea performed Princess Jasmine's hit song "A Whole New World" at the 65th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles, when the song won an Oscar Award. Indeed, the Executive Director, in a way, has personally met Princess Jasmine and Cinderella, and expects Carolyne will recognize and appreciate these special merits as sufficiently worthy for an honorary membership in the "Girls Club". The Executive Director is looking forward to joining the next "Girls Club" meeting for some tea and Candyland.

Good Central Location Deduced for Browe Family Reunion in 2008
August 15, 2007
By: David Browe

New York (AP): A Browe.com spokeswoman issued this statement at HQ in New York: "According to the guys down in the Directorate of Operations, Functions, and Reunions; Division of Logistical Analysis...the best central location for the Browe family reunion in 2008 can be deduced as follows: Take the two furthest points in 'Browe-dom', Indiana and Newport News, and draw a straight line connecting these two points. Call this central axis 'line A'. Next, take the furthest point in 'Browe-dom' from this central axis, Danville, and draw a straight line, 'line B', from this point to 'line A', such that 'line B' connects to 'line A' to form two right (90 degree) angles. The point at which 'line A' and 'line B' intersect at right angles marks the best central location....which is Fredericksburg!" Browe.com officials are now working closely with consultants from the U.S. Geological Survey and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency to confirm the location.

Breaking news of the proposed Browe reunion, first reported by Reuters, triggered a wave of fanfare and frenzy that rippled across the Nation today, and may have at least partially contributed to the wild swings on Wall Street. Details of the Browe reunion have not been fully disclosed, and remain the subject of intense anticipation and speculation. Apparently, everybody is waiting to hear from Andy.

The Browe Irish Connection and ‘Cafe O’ley’
April 12, 2007
By: David Browe

New York (AP): The Browe.com Directorate of Archives and Genealogy recently completed work on a comprehensive study in response to the recent guest inquiry on February 19, 2007 regarding the Irish connections of the Browe.com Technical staff.
According to the official report released Wednesday, the Technical staff indeed can claim an Irish connection as indirect descendants of Sir Patrick Westminster Browe, born circa. 1704 in Dublin during the period of the Protestant Ascendancy in the Kingdom of Ireland. Sir Patrick’s father was an Anglo-Irish Protestant clergyman belonging to the Anglican Church of Ireland and a descendent of a British colonist, while his mother was a native Irish Roman Catholic. During his childhood years, Sir Patrick often alternated between going to his father’s Protestant church and his mother’s Catholic church. Sir Patrick persistently struggled over his self-identity; was he an Englishman or an Irishman. He wedded a Scot, Alisson Martyne, in 1722. In 1724, Sir Patrick established the Browe Olde Tavern in Dublin, where Alisson served as an Ale-wife. It was as a tavernkeeper that Sir Patrick established notoriety throughout most of the Three Kingdoms from a drink he invented called Cafe O’ley. Legend holds that Jonathan Swift, the 18th century Irish essayist and political pamphleteer, was a regular at the Browe Olde Tavern, and would sip Cafe O’ley while composing his famous work, Gulliver’s Travels. In contrast to café au lait, the universally familiar French coffee beverage with cream, Cafe O’ley does contain coffee, but its other ingredients are a famous but well guarded family secret that has been handed down through generations. Cafe O’ley is still enjoyed today by the Technical staff at Browe.com.
